WSDOT – SR 509 Stage 1b Project – Voluntary Submitters Meeting and DBE/FSBE Contractor Networking Event
The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is beginning the two-step contract procurement process for the SR 509 Stage 1b Project. WSDOT will hold an informational meeting for potential Submitters regarding the first step, Request for Qualifications, on Sep. 11, 2019. This is the first of two design-build contracts that will be used to construct the SR 509 Completion Project over the next 9 years. The estimated contract amount is $310-350M.
WSDOT strongly encourages DBE and FSBE firms to attend this special networking session with the potential prime submitters for the project. It will provide an opportunity for these firms to meet with primes prior to bidding the job.
